Job Summary

We are currently seeking multiple enthusiastic candidates to join the Designer/Drafting department. Qualified candidates are well-organized, able to multi-task, and passionate about exterior building skin design and fabrication. Designer / Drafting position focuses on design and drafting of exterior facade panels. This position is perfect for a committed and experienced individual seeking long-term growth with a company known for taking on challenging iconic architectural projects.

The successful candidate will prepare shop drawings, prepare submittals, as well as create part drawings for various exterior cladding panels that are fabricated in house via 2D and 3D software. The candidate should be able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and be very well versed in Auto CAD to create detailed cladding system shop drawings. Rhinoceros 3D and Revit BIM software knowledge is desired. Designer is responsible for reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications, preparing various panel systems shop drawings, drawing and programming light gauge metal panel drawings for cold formed steel rolling and assembly, attending weekly company process/progress meetings, as well as assisting the production, fabrication and construction departments in various design tasks and presentations as needed.
